Don’t forget your pool service in the winter months, your pool water still needs to be kept in balance to keep your equipment in good working order and keep algae from growing. Algae prefers the heat therefore, it is less likely to bloom in the colder seasons it doesn’t mean your pool can’t get it. Just because you’re not using your swimming pool doesn’t mean dirt, debris, and algae can’t layer themselves on your pool plaster and pool tile. Maintaining your water’s balance between chlorine levels and pH is as important in the colder months as it is in the warmer months. Don’t let your pool water turn green, it will take longer to clear and can damage your equipment and you could end up with costly repairs.
